Good find. Congratulations!
Very good. Enjoyed them all.
Very nice set. Had to come from excellent photography or other art background.

I just ordered the Acratech GP because my Tamron is way too much for my MeFoto.
Look here, especially at the video

Well, after reading all this and realizing that I went toooo cheap ($125) on my tripod w/head, I broke down and ordered new. Bought an Acratech
GP Ballhead and Vanguard Abeo Plus 283CT Tripod.
Here's hoping that I will be able to write a great review.
My MeFoto just could not handle my 70D with any of the big lenses. I have Canon 70-200 and Tamron 150-600.

Really really like your shot through the branches. All are very good. And, also agree with Flyfishn, we are even blessed here in the snow.
Yesterday NashvillePhotographyClub held a 1/2 day helpful session. Good sports & night photography presentations. Then there were some indoor winter project set-ups. Splashing water, drops on rainx, oil on water, etc. Lot of attendees and overall very interesting.
Here are a couple of my"successful" shots.
I have not done any crop or other work. Straight from camera.
What a nice scene & photograph. Brings back memories. I lived very close to this (30 km I think) in the 60's. Went to tooo many wine fests but, overall enjoyed about 7 years there. All my 35mm photos from then are long gone..

Excellent, once again.

  Nice shots
Well that sure brightened things up nicely Fergus.
Mike,
I agree with the other suggestions and yes, you have a useful shot.

Now that is some horse power! Nice shots and interesting subjects.

I would have thought reloading driver or rebooting would take care of it. Are you sure that it picked up the new driver and not previous?
Just a Thinkin'

I did trash the tripod but, have not bought new one yet.
Yep, sure is another bird wings 42. I missed it
It is a new case because I know the screw threads for the base were stripped out.
I've always heard that Canon repair or refurb is better than new.

Well I finally got my 70-200 f4.0L back from Canon repair. I posted earlier about my old tripod leg failing and lens busted right off the camera. The "penalty" for my mistake was $210.

Here are a few freehand shots out in back of house. I actually think it is sharper than when I purchased it new about 4 months ago.
I am happy to have it back as I really like it for walk around.
