I did not know the Leica V-Lux 4 and your comment made me discover it.
Indeed, I doubt not at all the high quality of this camera and the pleasure that you
have to use it.
If I was younger of only a few years, I would doubtless try to obtain one from.
Unfortunately, Leica do not seem to sell this model here.
I still possess my old Panasonic Lumix FZ50 and I took so good and beautiful photos with this camera that I cannot decide to sell it, even if I do not use it any more, possessing a Pentax K5.
Are there members who still possesses their FZ50 and who sometimes use it?
IMHO, it is an immature European Starling.
Just like the one in my site:

Thank you bcheary,
You took me back when I was 16 playing Boogie Woogie. Now, I'm near 82, and no more piano to play.
But life is still good.
This is a very nice photo of the Northern Flicker.
Congrat.
Yes, it is a Withe-breasted Nuthatch
A very nice shot you have, hb3. Congrat.

This one pof my faorite birds. Very nervous, always in mouvement.
Here are some of my photos : http://www.pbase.com/jean_neron/sittelles
This a Chardonneret élégant (Carduelis carduelis) or
European Chardonneret (European Goldfinch)
IMHO, I would think classified it in the bittern family.
But, like you mention, it looks like a green heron, maybe a juvenile, that I found in Sibley's Guide.
I am not absolutely in agreement with comments expressed here, concerning the photography in Paris.
My nephew was transferred in Paris for one year and his wife who is fascinated by photography,
walks in Paris every day and does not hesitate to use its camera.
Look at : http://parisexpat2012.wordpress.com/
I made five trips in Paris and I photographed all that I wanted. In internal as in outside of buildings with no problem at all
There is a lot of discrimination in comments. It seems that if you are not "American" you are only people of anything.
Paddleheaddave, go to Paris and take all the photos which you wish while respecting cytoyens, as you respect the inhabitants from your home or of somewhere else in the United States.
When an American tourist asks me for an information, I am happy to answer him in his tongue and wish him a happy stay in the province of Quebec.
This is an European Starling. The most common bird where
is human presence.

Thank you for these beautiful photos and also for what you wrote to make us known more about this magnificent church and its history.
Thank you, Pepper and GrahamS for your comments which are always appreciated on this forum.
I am sure that GGS is a higher quality that the one I had.
Thank you JR1, for the reference. Yes, we got for what we pay.
