By reading some of the history on this place, I do know it is a real ghost town. From the pictures though, it looks like it has been contrived in a way, or is this actually the way people left it? Seems too much like people moved out and just left their belongings as they walked out the door. I mean who leaves with the table set for dinner? Cheers.
Especially- who would leave thier favorite hat behind, no matter what catastrophe :) :)
Sorry, but I have a phobia. I am happy to see ANY snake killed! Can't help it.
Don't even joke about that one! We have enough to worry about!
Very, very nice as always!
Hi Guys,
A few days ago my hubby discovered a black snake trying to get under the garage door. I know they are basically harmless and even beneficial, but he once had one making itself comfy in the rafters of the garage and had a heck of a time getting it out, so of course, he had to destroy it. He told me he killed it and cut it into pieces with a shovel and tossed it into the field behind the house. 2 days later I was wandering around with the camera and came upon it-intact! I hate snakes of any kind-can't even look at them, but since it appeared to be dead, I got down and got several shots. I wanted to get it's face but didn't want to touch anything touching it so I got a few bad shots and got away. I asked my hubby if I heard him right about cutting it up, and he said "yes". I told him it must have grown new parts because it was out there dead in one piece. Took him out to where I saw it and it was gone! He looked at my pics and said "That's not the same one!" The one he killed was at least a foot shorter!" So I was down in the face of a live snake! Gives me the willies just talking about it. Anyway, here's the bad pic from my p&s, with hands shaking, preparing to run. It never moved the whole time I was shooting. Must have been sleeping. I only did about 4 shots (all bad) and then bolted.
When ya gotta go, ya gotta go!
Beautiful shots. I have seen lots of those around here. They do seem to like the prettiest flowers.
Well, I understand what you are saying, but I use the printer absolutely every day. From what it looked like to me, when I cleaned the nozzle it looked like the problem there would have been lines going horizontally and close together. These lines were perfectly straight, going vertically with no breaks in the lines, and spaced equally distanced across the whole image. Very confusing.
I have been using it for about 6 mos. and have loaded it with photos, videos, documents and all kinds of stuff. Never had a problem (yet). It's great for showing your photos to potential clients without having to email them. Just have them meet you and show them. That way you don't have to worry about degrading the quality any in small email views, and you can show them 50 at a time if you want.

The only time that that has happened to me was when I tried to print wirelessly from the second and the printer was in the basement. I have an Artisan 800 which is sitting next to my laptop and connected to it with a USB cable; no more problems!
I don't have a laptop, and can't print wirelessly, so that's not it. I have cleaned the nozzle and it looks fine, can't find how to align it. As I said, I can print from file just fine so I guess I'll stick with that until I get a chance to contact Epson.
Thanks Much.
Bummer! This blog is getting as hard as Photoshop to maneuver in!
"I'm outa here! You guys are drivin' me nuts!"
All great shots brucew29! Great story.
Pretty cool! Didn't know they were doing that one.
Beauty! Is he in the witness protection program?
