I (and numerous) others experienced the same problem --i.e., while in LrC, 'right click> edit in> edit in Photoshop', which initiated Ps normally, but the image you were transferring wouldn't appear-- but only when the most recent iteration of Photoshop Beta (Ps 2024) was installed and was the Ps version designated as the primary editor.
One workaround was to designate the secondary editor to (regular, non-Beta) Ps and bounce the LrC image to it rather than the primary editor (Ps Beta). Alternately, the image you were working on could be opened normally --in either Ps or in Ps Beta-- but doing so meant that anything (entering lens corrections, any adjustments, etc., you'd done in LrC would not be applied, so it was as if you were starting on the image from scratch.
What I ended up doing was to access Adobe's Creative Cloud where I then deleted Ps Beta 2024, and re-installed the previous version of Ps B (Ps 2023, which allowed transfers appropriately) which allowed me to transfer/bounce the image from LrC to Ps B or to the regular, most recent version of Ps [24.7]. Then DO NOT allow the next (most recent) update to Ps B; instead, wait for Adobe to address the malfunction --that they're fully aware of-- then DO update with whatever update/fix it is that'll likely soon come.
You did not mention that you had the Beta Ps installed, so presumably you don't. In any event, one possible cure to the malfunction you described would be to similarly access Adobe Creative Cloud, uninstall your current version of PsC, then re-install the previous version (that worked as you were accustomed to).

Thank you all. Rolling PS beta back to the previous version (24.7) seemed to have resolved the issue.
