HI Angler..As Robins are so inquisitive I wonder what he (or she) made of all this.I like it very much.

Thanks everybody and as I thought produced a mixed reaction.Personally I think colour is best where flowers are concerned but I wanted to produce a sort of abstract effect.I used the Topaz plug in which converts to black and white and then something else which I cant remember(old age I expect!!)

Here are two photos the original in colour and the other changed to black and white with a little manipulation with Topaz. I would appreciate your opinions

Hi Bruce Thanks for the Sparrow photo.Your Sparrows are a little more colourful than ours, probably due to the different amounts of sunshine we have. What lens did you use because this Sparrow is very sharp

Hi Skybones..I had this dilemma when I purchased A canon SX280S and no instr book so not wanting to print out approx 170 pages I tried Old Time Cameras wwho can print out in book format(at a modest cost). I think mine was approx 20$.I am not sure if they operate in the States but you can try.For some obscure reason to do with Canon they can only print at half A4 size but it does come nicely bound.Hope this helps

I used to work for an American company repairing accounting machines. The machines contained springs which could not be seen but broke.Nightmare!!! So take apart your lens but you will probably find that putting it back together will be a lot more difficult.How much is a S/H Tamron 17-50 I think this is your best path.Hope you find the answer.

Many thanks Warrior but I have tried several times but will give it another go. I noticed from a past topic that this happened before but I had it in mind on that occasion it was another programme but it was Elements 12.

Hope someone out there can help me. Yesterday I tried to open 12 but it refused ie nothing happened when I clicked the icon.I uninstalled the programme and reloaded.I am getting a message that it is validating the serial number then nothing.I contacted a help forum(which I pay for) who suggested I reset my computer,which I have done.This also failed.Anyone able to help &/or give Adobes help website.Finally I have Elements 10 which works OK

Hi travelwp...Sad but on the other hand just over 10years ago I was diagnosed with cancer of the Oesaphagus and considering only 6 months previous I had a stent in my heart. My cancer was treated within 1 month and I am still here. A guy opposite me came from California and had been in the States for 40 yrs after leaving Wales. He needed a kidney transplant but as he had never relinquished his British citizenship was able to come back here.He told me to pay for his operation in California he would have to sell his house.So perhaps with a medical history what options are aavailable in the States?

Brilliant...which reminds me I am waiting to see a urologist after seeing the Dr in July,when ringing the hospital I found out I could wait a total of 48 weeks.I bet I dont get a female urologist and if I do the stay wont last 10mins!!!
