I had a young Ensign who came up to the Flying Bridge to get a shot of a night time Tarter missile shoot with his brand new Nikon FTN (It was a long time ago). Long story short the bird left the rail while he was fussing with his new lens. He was so startled that he dove for the deck and tossed his new toy into the drink. He had not taken the time to attach the strap to his camera. Expensive even with 1969 APO pricing.
Play the Accordian and go to jail. That's the law
I lived there for two years a number of decades ago. You will love it. Word of advice, Worry more about the rain and less about the snow. Rain can come at you horizontally and will soak you ( and your camera ) in seconds.
I found one more. How about "HAPPILY MARRIED"?
My comment about AlQeida and my Mother-in-Law had nothing to do with either party. I was speaking of the 535 jackasses in Congress (all of them) who have a <10% approval rate by the way and the Executive Branch who combined could not organize a two car funeral.
If it may please the court, I firmly believe that Republicans are the crooks in the Gray suits and the Democrats are the crooks in the Blue suits. I'm a Libritarian.
Come on kids
Lets get over the bickering. We've put up with it for over a year now and it's getting old.
You liberals, Shut up and get to work. Bitching about what you were left with is not productive and irritating. Start working already
You conservatives, get busy, quit moaning and defend what you know is right. Educate your friends gently and make sure that we lose no more of our liberties. Start preparing for a comeback.
There is more than enough blame to go around for everyone engaged in our political system.
As I told my Representative, If AlQeida nuked Washington I would feel the way I would if my Mother-in-Law drove into the Grand Canyon in my new Porche
G'morning kids
I'm just about ready to make the "Jump" to DSLRs and I have a question.
Will I be able to use my mid 80s NIKON 50mm and 80 - 105 lenses with my new d5100?
I am very comfortable with these lenses and I would really like to incorporate them in my bag
Thanks
I had a hard time watching it all the way to the end. My computer screen got all blurry.
Thanks for posting it.
You betcha! I can't believe that I ever found time for work. I'm the house-husband, I swim daily and make walking sticks for the Cancer Center that I retired from.
Retirement is the best thing ever! I'm glad that they didn't waste it on the young
Thanks for all the welcomes. I'm starting to feel like an "Old Fart" already
Ah memories. I had an Asahi Spotmatic that I acquired overseas and a Nikon Photomic FTN gotten the same way
I'm Bill. I am a happily retired Cancer Nurse and Professional Firefighter. I live in North Central NC and am getting back into photography.
I started taking photos in the late 60s using a Pentax and a Nikon.
Now I am using a Nikon L120 and enjoying getting creative again
