As an FYI, I had purchased a Canon 200mm f1.8 from a person in Korea after the World Cup. Apparently there are many people there that will buy for the event then sell. I still have the lens and accessories. In my case, a fantastic purchase. Mine purchased on ebay.
Typically I'll take my 5DmkII with a 24-70 f2.8, and a 50D with a 70-200 f2.8, 4 batteries each , and a drycell battery backup when the NiCads are gone. Superglue, gum, wipes for the lens' and some other misc. components.

Maybe it was an Senile Old Man who was driving like a Blue Haired Old Lady?
Before making statements that "EV's do not keep up with traffic", it would be advisable read and understand the very simple (and wonderful) relationship between Horse Power, Torque, and RPM.
If there is someone on UHH who can give a quick, moderately simple, explanation between these 3 interrelated modes; and, how EV's and Internal Combustion engines differ in using these functions, please have at it.
A most interesting thing to understand
. How do you know they can't keep up with traffic?... (

1-I look to my right and typically notice a male with a beard in his early 30's, or a woman in her 20's to 40's. More than 50% are younger than 50.
2-After building several race cars and motors, as well as having 3 engineering degrees, a Bachelors in Aerospace, A masters in Mechanical, and a Masters in Aeronautical, which would include 41 years experience as an engineer; training as a turret and powerplant mechanic as transportation officer in the cavalry, and a commercial ticket from the FAA in single engine/multiengine land aircraft, I think I understand the relationship between Horsepower, Torque and RPM.
Please do not make uneducated assumptions based upon my direct observations.
When traveling the interstate, it seems to me that the EV's do not keep up with traffic, especially at 75 or 85 mph (Utah, Colorado). What is the expected range of the alternative vehicles in winter or summer months when the requirements are the highest, i.e. A/C, or heater, Lights, radio, GPS, and other systems. These all impact range to an extent. There was a woman that bought a Leaf and found that her range was 25 miles in winter. Not a very good commuter vehicle.
When there is an electric vehicle that allows me to drive from LA to Colorado or Boston with only a 15 minute stop every 350 miles, I'll consider an vehicle with alternative energy. Right now, hours to charge a vehicle is a non-starter. Also consider that the majority of EVs being sold do not have the cargo capacity and the unrefueled range as my Volvo wagon.
My 2006 M5 nets me 24 MPG at 80 MPH, consistently. Typically lower than 40 yields a 19-22 MPG reading. This is over 60,000 miles.

Hey there must be a Heathkit for computers, right? Who remembers building their own Heathkit "HiFi stereo amp.", back in the 60's? Who's old enough to know what "HiFi" "stereo" and "amp." mean? Certainly not my kids or grandkids!
I built a Heathkit Color TV. It worked for a decade. Now gone.
A note that you should understand. If you are at a registered tournament, you may not be permitted to shoot in the penalty box, nor the team bench because of USA Hockey rules, and because you are competing with the local pros that are taking shots there. At a weekend game, at least in my case CAHA, they had rules against allowing parents either in the penalty box, or the team bench. Typically, I would shoot in the benches above the glass with a 200mm and a 1.4 extender on a Canon 50D. I would get some pretty impressive shots. All my travel time, I shot through the glass. Typically I would clean the glass, and the Refs would clean the inside glass as a favor. Always set your white balance correctly to accommodate the different lighting. Enjoy. I shot over 5000 pictures of my daughters figure, ice hockey, and my sons ice hockey all around the continent.

Pasta is a yuppie word in the USA coming into use in the 1980's . And in NJ and in Brooklyn we call it gravy , not sauce 😉
Put some gravy on my pasta?? Not in Brooklyn. We called it tomato sauce on our spaghetti.
I love my 200mm F1.8. It works great, especially when I use a 1.4 extender. I've taken many indoor hockey photos with that lens.
