18-135 USM. I have used that on my 70d for a few years. Very rarely take it off. It is good for 90% of all your images. Unless you want to spend a small fortune on a host of prime lenses, this is (in my humble opinion) the perfect lens for what you want.
Wonderful shots. As long as I have lived in the 4-corners area, I have yet to visit Bisti. Your images are helping me get there. Perhaps October when it cools down and the monsoons are gone.
Nice shots Cany. Actually my favorite type of weather. Love the drama of a "mean" sky.
Wonderful shot! Very expressive. Thanks for sharing.
As good as your last one. Congrats!
The East Coast of Nova Scotia, particularly Peggy's cove.
Great way to start my day. This is truth worth spreading. Thank you so much Rathyatra for sharing this timeless wisdom. Let us all reflect on the true values of our life's adventure and revel in the simple wonders of our journey.
Nice shot, again. I mentioned in another post that you have a great artistic eye. This image confirms it.
GREAT, GREAT SHOTS! I can't help but yell at you. I envy and appreciate what you do and some day would love to spend more time at the beach working on capturing some of these images myself. Thank you for your work.

Great artistic image! More and more I am finding I use my iphone as much as my "real" camera, mainly because it is always available. Unless I am looking to enlarge, what difference does it make? A well crafted image is just that, "well crafted." Your artistic rendition doesn't change because of the tools you use, but by the eye that "sees."
Great shots! As a confirmed "Mountain Man" I always appreciate these iconic mountain images, even if I have seen similar shots previously. Great composition.
Having worked at Walt Disney World for 10 years and seeing more than my share of firework displays, this is one of the best images I have seen. Great capture!

It has been called the most beautiful meeting of land and sea in the world. It was made famous by Edward Weston and other great California landscape photographers.
They obviously have never been to New Zealand.
Keep your camera ready, your eyes open and your mind receptive to the world around you. It is a great part of the world and there are photo ops all around. Not knowing your particular photographic style, it is sort of impossible to point out specific locations or suggestions. I have found that often-times the best images are those I never set out to shoot but somehow they find me just by being aware. Good luck and enjoy the California Coast.
Hi Cany,
Unfortunately I have to attend to my regular business duties. Have not had the opportunity to look at all my shots or even download to the computer. Will certainly keep you in mind when I do, assuming there may be any decent images to post. Great trip though. I was a little mad at myself that I didn't take my tripod, camera and long lens when I was walking along that beach. Had it with me in the hotel but when I set out on the walk I wasn't thinking photos. Oh well. Thanks for your post.
