Hi Folks, a few more photos of our visit to the Grand Tetons. Today we visited Mormon Row which contains remnants of the buildings Mormon settlers established in the early 1900's but later abandoned. This place in a region called Antelope Flats, has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places and is probably the most photographed area of the Grand Tetons. I slipped in one picture showing tourist streaming in by the carloads. It's easy to get to and there is parking and even a restroom. I had a great time here.

Great photos. Will be taking a road trip thru the midwest with my 88yr old Father in Sept. He's a history buff and traveled the East coast with my sister so I'm taking him to Mr Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Monument, Yellowstone, Deadwood, Mormon Row, Sitting Bull Monument and others he's chosen. This will be a wonderful trip for us both.

He'll love it, just make sure he has plenty of time to rest up. My wife and I left room for a day of rest after each leg of our journey and we tried to limit our drive time to 6 hours maximum. That way, we had plenty of energy since were not so young anymore. Have fun on your trip. We did take in Mt. Rushmore on this trip as well. Be prepared for large crowds.

Well that is just so kind of you to say Carol. I like many, have spent years trying out various processing techniques and methods. It's taken a lot of trial and error...lots of frustration, I nearly gave up at times. Seeing the beautiful images other were achieving kept me in the game of this fun hobby we all enjoy. It's kind of hard to go wrong when you have gorgeous landscapes. Thanks again for you comment...that just made my day.

Yes indeed John, my wife's sister (who lives in Wyoming) recently had heart surgery to repair a blocked artery. As part of our trip to visit her, we took in a few sights along the way. Thanks for stopping in...
