As noted above, you should be able to remove the color cast in post-processing, but some scanning software allows you to correct it during the scanning process. I use Silverfast Ai Studio 8, which allows you to specify the brand and type of film you are scanning. Are you specifying EXACTLY what film is being scanned? VERY IMPORTANT! The software needs this info so it can compensate for the "orange mask" of
the negative. Every different color film has a different "orange mask".
I use VueScan, and I can take a sample of an UNEXPOSED area of the negative and the software takes it from there...works great every time.
If you are using Epson software, there must be away to accomplish the same...
