Probably this topic is very recurrent, but still I'm not able to nail a good shoot of the Moon.
Any good advise or working rule ?
Thank you all..!!

If you want the craters on the moon, you'll have much better results with a partial moon. Unless a professional with expensive equipment it is quite difficult with a full moon. Both of these were handheld.

When you buy a used car do you ask how many miles it has been driven?

Of course. Who wouldn't? Miles on a car and actuations on a camera are good indications how much active life they have left.

Dunno, some were good suggestions and some don’t read the requirements ….or dates.
The original post is from over 4 years ago, so the OP probably has probably decided already and moved on.

Many of us didn't realize the OP's original post is 4 years old. Perhaps the system should be modified to not accept additional comments to any post older than a year.

I am thinking of buying myself a DSLR camera as I have more time to learn how to use one and more importantly to spend more time creating better photographs. I am currently using a Panasonic Lumix TZ60. I don't want anything too complicated as me and technology don't gel!! I don't want anything too heavy. It will be my first DSLR so I want to try and get it right first time as it is a big chunk of money for me to part with. It doesn't need to be a new camera as I have been told that you can get an older model just as good for less money. My budget is up to £500 but would prefer to spend less and have some left over for accessories!! Trusty advice would be greatly appreciated.

The OP is wanting to ease into a DSLR from a Lumix point-an-shoot. Why is every one giving her advice on professional and semi-professional cameras. She can do everything she needs to do over the next few years with a Canon SL1 or SL2. She is concerned not only about price but weight and complexity.

Oh, they should tell that to the numerous countries using it as one of their primary treatments for Covid-19. From what I read the dosage and when the treatment is started determines if it is effective or not. Start too late or use too low a dose and it has little or no effect. But a lot of meds are like that, too little too late-no effect. And with many meds too much and the med itself can kill the patient. One asthma rescue inhaler I have used is like that, use it too much and it causes an attack.

You are absolutely correct. We have had several in our family with the original variant, took Ivermectin immediately after testing positive and were back to normal within days.

My brother would differ with you too! He also took drug for 4 days and doctor said it saved his life, we know many other people who have taken also and it has helped them stay out of hospital and to heal completely

Our family results agree with yours.

Several in our family took Ivermectin at the onset and were back to normal within days. You won't convince us to the contrary. It was prescribed based on weight and proper dosage. This was with the original more serious strain, not the more current "mild" strains.

I'm always puzzled by those who diss a movie or a book just because it doesn't fit their concept of realism. Come on, man....... it's entertainment. Suspend your idea of the real world and just enjoy the book or move.

What's the big deal? One case in U.S. so far. 2022 United States Monkeypox Case. On May 18, 2022, a U.S. resident tested positive for monkeypox after returning to the U.S. from Canada. As of May 18, 2022, no additional monkeypox cases have been identified in the U.S.

Perhaps not as serious as CrocPox.

I was going to say the same thing. Has nothing to do with MPG.
