I find these jokes funny because they are. I do not take offense, I do not shame people who tell these jokes, and I find men who tell me what I ought to be offended by offensive.

*A man driving a car hits a woman. Whose fault is it? The man's. Why was he driving in the kitchen?

*As an airplane is about to crash, a female passenger jumps up frantically and announces, "If I'm going to die, I want to die feeling like a woman." She removes all her clothing and asks, "Is there someone on this plane who is man enough to make me feel like a woman?" A man stands up, removes his shirt and says, "Here, iron this!".

*Why do women have smaller feet than men?
It's one of those "evolutionary things" that allows them to stand closer to the kitchen sink.

*How do you fix a woman's watch?
You don't. There is a clock on the oven.

Absurdity has always been the foundation of a good joke.

And he says he's not sexist! I believe he's actually afraid of women. You do realize that just about every restaurant kitchen is run and staffed by mostly males. I guess since all these males work in kitchens, there's something wrong with them. More fodder for your juvenile sense of humor.
Being respectful towards other human beings doesn't mean one is being politically correct, it just means they are being normal. Harboring a deep seeded hatred toward an entire gender, is not normal, it's pathetic.
And he says he's not sexist! I believe he's actual... (show quote)

OK...now that I have reread your post I realize I have missed something...apparently you and the joke poster have had words in the past...you are really not being respectful to him by calling him a sexist or stating that you believe he's actually afraid of women....yes most of us do know that most world famous chefs are men but I know myself personally do not find anything wrong with that. The joke was a joke, period. Not disrespectful or demeaning to anyone. There are just as many jokes out there about men that say they are dumb, lazy, question their sexuality, etc. have you ever laughed at one? or told one? Think about this....throughout the entire world, who is responsible for most of the household duties: cooking, cleaning, shopping, child care etc? Please remember I said most....think about a time when you walked into a home that wasn't quite should I say "in order" what were your thoughts of who wasn't doing their "job"? Be honest. People are going to tell jokes about what people do... I am very proud to say that throughout my life my responsibilities have been to clean the house, cook the meals, take care of the children, do the laundry and all the shopping; I have never found it demeening work! I also work a full-time job, done quite a few oil changes and brake jobs on the household cars, ride a motorcycle, love fishing & camping, shoot guns for fun and I repeat jokes that I feel are good! I am a blonde and a little over 5' tall....never been offended or felt disrespected when I've heard a blonde or short joke; I do however get very embarrassed when an extremely dirty joke is told in mixed company and have been known to take the person to the side and quietly state that "maybe now is not the proper time for that kind of humor" and it is usually very well accepted. No big scene is made, no long discussion but a point is made that it may offend some people present.....maybe a nice private message to the jokester stating that this type of humor may not be appropriate...if that is what your issue is.. may have been a more civil way of handling it, but I have found that those who are on the PC campaign like to make a ruckuss, stir up the pot and cause problems. Why not make a suggestion to Admin that there be a specific place where "Jokes" can be posted, understanding that it would be an area where it is free for those who choose to express themselves, like the "nudes, boudoir" shots are so that those who choose to view can? Instead of them showing up in general discussion where those who may be offended may open them in error. Please lets not remove humor from our world...a joke is a joke it really doesn't cause any physical harm, in fact, laughter is good for you! With that I would like to share a little joke...How is Christmas like your job? You do all the work and the fat guy in the suit gets all the credit. Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm not telling you, you should be offended. I don't really care if you are offended or not. I've not told anyone they should be offended, regardless of how offensive the demeaning humor is. Six pages of this and you still haven't twigged! The two stupid boys in the originally posted picture are the butt of the joke; they have revealed themselves to be antediluvian fools.

Please do not project what you perceive to be what I feel. I find them funny because they are absurd... I do not feel inferior at all. I find it funny that the men in these jokes think they can get away with that stuff. And I really don't need you to brag on your family to prove your point. My point is, we are not largely insecure or feel we have little self worth. (There are men who tend to make that stuff up in their heads to make themselves feel better about themselves - you know when someone feels small they will try to drag others down lower to feel big) That's why we can laugh at this stuff... because we know better. As I said, it is absurd and, therefore, funny. And yes, all those jokes are inaccurate. That's what jokes are about. Absurd and inaccurate is funny, therefore, I suppose you might be funny.

BTW, I worked 3 jobs to support my family. My husband was 100% disabled at 34 and unable to work so I supported him, our 2 children (one also disabled at birth), my mother-in-law who moved in and lived with us for 18 years, my granddaughter who came to live with us when she was 2, and my grandson who lived with us from birth until the age of 16, and my daughter who didn't moved out until she was 34 (because she was 50% disabled and needed help...she was the healthy one...) For 33 years I worked 7 days a week, 18 hours a day. I didn't have time to get a college degree, serve in the military, build muscle cars (although for 6 years I helped my husband rebuild cars and run them at the drag strip for fun), yet I worked those hours and still maintained the home and did the cooking and cleaning. I am currently a master of wildlife artistry (a taxidermist) and work with animals twice my size skinning, tanning the hides or mounting them. I know animal anatomy and animal behavior... A to Z. Your younger sister probably could kick my butt. I'm 65 and have a lung disease, but back when one of my jobs was new home construction, I'd have given her a run for her money. I'm not so strong now (as if that is any measure of woman...) and the best I could do is throw a dead deer at her. Its ok... you can laugh at that. I won't be offended if you do.

People like me, sir? People like me are strong enough to take a punch and laugh about it.

Maybe you can explain to me why it was okay for women to make fun out of a wife cutting off her husband's penis. https://youtu.be/80JqoyaL-p4
The whole audience of women laughed along with all the sick jokes. Are you blind to all the demeaning humor aimed at men in TV shows today? If a talk show hosted by men had made fun out of a story about a woman being mutilated, you can bet that show would have been cancelled immediately. I watched an episode of Oprah Winfrey once where the primarily female audience laughed as a female school teacher talked about her molestation of a young male student. Oprah finally had to tell them to stop, and reminded them that they wouldn't laugh if it had been a male teacher with a female student. Inappropriate sexist behavior is not confined to males. If men began complaining every time a female coworker exposed herself or flirted with them, would there even be any consequences? The joke that began this thread was funny precisely because it made fun of an outdated stereotype. Women and men share the kitchen nowadays. It demeaned no one. Tim Allen made a career out of making fun about men, but we didn't find it demeaning. We laughed.

No need to call me sir. I worked for a living.
My sincerest apologies to you as it appears I offended you, which was not my intent. A case of negligence on my part and not truly paying attention. Fact is, I failed to recognize you are a woman and had I not made that error, my response would have been different or possibly not at all.
The reason I brought up family members was to point out that women can and do thrive outside the domestic domain the OP appears to believe all women belong in. I believe I mentioned I was raised in a household of women. My father was killed in a train crash a few months before my younger sister was born. It was our mother, my sisters and myself. My siblings and I were raised as equals although my sisters are definitely more intelligent than I.
My younger sister could kick my butt if she wanted to, she's quite accomplished in the martial arts. But its not about violence according to her, it's about discipline. I'm not sure what the dead deer remark was about. Back in the day when I use to trudge through the woods of Pennsylvania with a high power rifle on the annual deer hunt, I got lucky a few times and I know what the average dead deer weighs and throwing one would be difficult at best.
By the way, I'm not the one pointing out how inferior women are, the person who posted the comics in the first place has a history of this juvenile behavior. I usually consider the source and ignore that kind of childish stuff. The reason I stepped in is, the funny man insulted a friend of mine. She's the only UHH member I actually know and she is a good friend.
Again, I apologize for the error I have made and I'm truly sorry if I offended you.

Mr Burleigh, the truth of your comment is actually funnier than the joke that started these now 7 pages.

First of all, PLEASE stop the name calling. My wonderful, talented and beautiful wife is also my best friend. We share almost everything. Except dancing. She's trying to get me to go. If you want to call me a wimp, so be it. M okay with that. By The Way, you have two choices in life. You can always be happy or always be right. Pick One! I nod my head to my father. A very happy man.
