Hi Ho Hi ho it's not to Walmart we go.
What do you want for full frame 35mm F2 D lens? Should work just fine on my D90 crop sensor Nikon since it would be using the best part of the lens' coverage.

What is a "Nikon 35mm f2 D AF-S" lens?
I'm sure it's a minor type....
Probably was meant to be a Nikkor AF 35mm f/2D lens ($387 new). Would be a great lens for use on any of the Nikons that have the in-body focus motor that the AF lenses require. FX capable, too.
But he wanted the Nikkor AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G ($167 new). DX only, but able to autofocus on the D3000/D5000 series cameras that lack the in-body focus motor.
Wow a lot of people excusing bad performance
And we wounder why we get bad performance, sorry but a company posting the profits that Walmart does, have no reason, even temp help, not to insure that its service is totaly excellent.

Why does this sound like a Fry's experience?

In an act of insanity, I decided to use the walmart gift cards I received for christmas this year and by the Nikon lens I needed A nikon 35mm f1.8 AF-S DX lens. I usualy order my gear directy from Nikon but I got greedy and thought I could save some dough by using my gift cards and pay the remainder on my Visa. The company that Walmarts Marketplace used for most Nikon Gear is Pixibytes out f NY york.
When I opened up the package I found a Accessory kit and not the lens I ordered but a Nikon 35mm f2 D AF-S lens. I called Walmart and I also Called Pixi-bytes. Pixibytes never responded and Considering that they have an F rating by the BBB I was not surprised. Walmart called and said they would fix the problem and I believed them.
On monday morning I called Walmart and told them that Pixibytes did not contact me in any way shape or form. I got real loud and told them to stop trying to send the lens Walmart could never ship me in the first. They simply can do nothing correct.
After running out of time I went to work and called Walmart a third time and asked for my money back. She said I had to talk to a manager in order to get that done. After waiting what seems like forever the anager comes on the line and tell me I have the wrong manager. I had to talk to the Marketplace manager. Now waiting forever and a day The manage of the Marketplace issued me a refund and put the gift card funds back on my gift cards. When I asked them if they were going to issue a call tag to return the wrong lens they shipped me, she simply said. "throw it away, give it Goodwill or just keep it for yourself."
I reordered my lens from Nikon and receicved a $30 discount because now the lens was on sale.
And what did I get for my trouble a brand new 35mm F2.0 AF-S d lens that I absolutely have no use for, 2 gift certificates and $30 off my new lens.
Thank you for shopping at Walmart Online.
P.S. I now a person in the military that purchased a very expensive targeting laser through a diiferent division of Walmart. When he got the package he had ordered he found one extremely expensive toothrush. Yes it is true names have been changed to protect the innocent.

I have gotten good results from WalMart stores by standing at the service counter
and being very, very patient.
I recently bought five marine batteries -- biggeset ones they sell. They couldn't tell
me if they had them in stock, then said they had none.. I went back to automotive, looked
for myself---found only four. They had no idea when any more were coming in.
I just kept checking until one day there were five on the shelf, so I bought them.
I am very happy with my purchase--but it took me a week and three trips to the store
(plus one more trip to return the cores).
Most of the people who work in our local store are very nice, they're just not the
sharpest knives in the drawer. So one must be patient. On-line is whole different
matter--no counter to stand at.
what is your problem , you got a free lens from Walmart .It is silly to buy something like that from WM .[ my favorite store ] not for camera stuff .
Welcome to Walmart Marketplace. It's a crapshoot, that is reality.

I have ordered sd cards, batteries and chargers. Never had any problems with the 3rd party vendors and everything received quickly and in order. I would be careful about larger items. Some are grey market. Also the accessories offered with the lenses and cameras are often junk.

Remember, if the card has the logo of the card company on it, it can be used any place that accepts that brand of card. It is treated just like a credit card that has a limit set on it.
If you don't want the lens, please PM me and see if we can agree on a price and shipping. Is it in new condition and is there any indication that it's US or grey market? Thank you.
I've just had a similar instance occur just a few weeks ago, but not with Walmart. Sites I'll be avoiding with a passion because of this instance: Ebay, Craigslist, Etsy & Now KEH.com My story is way too long to explain all in one day. Needless to say I'm out $150.00 But ow well, live and learn.
I have a large supply of Nikon lenses spanning over 30 years. I must have everything from 16mm on up. It simply is a duplicate. I think ill trade it in on a lens I could use.
I tree cried the correct lens direct from Nikon and all is good. Like I said they gave me a $30 discount and free next day air shipping. As far as the free lens goes. It a fine lens but I have this lens and I don't neck another one. I'll sell or trade it in and get something I can use. Go figure thou Walmart is going to put themselves out of the online business if they form partnerships with idiots like Pixibytes. A very frustrating way to get a present for myself and a free one. Didn't know that Walmart had Buy one ND get one going on. I like Nikon great products and efficient in getting your product to your home. Gotta love them.

It seems you received a lot of offers to buy. did you take up on any of these and turn your experience into more "fun money"? PS mine was one of these.
