Your photos are stunning. So much of the west and Pacific Northwest (including British Columbia) have suffered massively the past few years. Where I live in central/eastern WA, we get the smoke from all directions.

Love the apples from your area!

Here now... There are a number of fires and only a part of the park open.
This picture was taken on a hike from Logan Pass.
It shows several large fires on the western side of the park.
These fires definitely increased since yesterday.
Pic #2 shows a lot of smoke in the air all over the area.

Still a stunning park.

Lovely captures...and yes the smoke has been terrible in my area...they just opened the west side of Going to the Sun Road for shuttle bus only, fire came within 150 yards of Going to the Sun Road but it's holding steady the last couple of days. No matter which way you look...there are stunning views everywhere...glad you enjoyed your trip!

Great shots! The devastation that all of these fires are causing is unimaginable.

Gorgeous pictures of one of my favorite places. Such a shame to see so many fires there and sad to hear the pass is closed. I wonder how the animals are faring? Even here in Michigan the western fires have made our sunsets more colorful (when it's not raining, that is).

Very nice shots even with the smoke. A friend and her husband were headed there but turned around and came up with plan B before they could get to the park. It was a shame they had to miss seeing Glacier, smoke or not.

I genuinely like both images, maybe more for the smoke-induced graphic quality imposed on the scenes than for their purely photographic appeal (which is in no way lacking). Sort of a it comes down to what is a 'it is what it is' opportunity, and you took full measure of that. In some 'you can fool some of the people some of the time' moment, I might in some quietly, in-obviously way clone around with the obvious source of smoke plume, and manipulate that into a mist bank or something, but I'd never let on that I'd done so. But that's me, not you. And I like what you did.

Thanks all... Have really enjoyed the time there and are now in transit to Yellowstone.
It has been really warm here .... high 70s into the 80s during the day... all pretty much sunny.
cooler at night but very warm and dry. We will see what next week brings!
