Here now... There are a number of fires and only a part of the park open.
This picture was taken on a hike from Logan Pass.
It shows several large fires on the western side of the park.
These fires definitely increased since yesterday.
Pic #2 shows a lot of smoke in the air all over the area.

Still a stunning park.

Your photos are stunning. So much of the west and Pacific Northwest (including British Columbia) have suffered massively the past few years. Where I live in central/eastern WA, we get the smoke from all directions.

Thanks. Yes, Yesterday was 9/5. We are still in ( near) the park.
if yr heading this way... the east side is still open up to Logan Pass.
The west side is where the fires are and is not open past Apgar campground.
Road to the Sun road is not open through the park... ( I doubt if it will be this year again. )
Head east... west very smoky and ( I thk ) getting worse.
We are heading up to Many Glaciers today.
I'll try to dl some more photos tonight.
