Gorgeous - to some extent because of the haze. You made lemonade out of the lemons you were given!

Here now... There are a number of fires and only a part of the park open.
This picture was taken on a hike from Logan Pass.
It shows several large fires on the western side of the park.
These fires definitely increased since yesterday.
Pic #2 shows a lot of smoke in the air all over the area.

Still a stunning park.

Nice set Steve. Sad to see so many fires.

I really like the dramatic aerial perspective in these. In the second, the swath of brown seems an intrusion to the otherwise composition in blue

I simply love the first photo. The second one is good as well, but the first photo is sensational.

It is a tragedy. I really like the first one.

Outstanding captures of Montana's national park. What a strange year we've had in our state. Significant snow fall in the winter, cold and rainy up until July 4th. Then came the heat wave and for two months came the forest fire smoke. All it takes is lightning to light up the Pacific Northwest. Seems to be the new normal anymore. Thanks for sharing your images.

You did a good job photographing what appears to be a difficult situation.
