Is that a photo of him? Seems to have grown old in a short period of time.
He's wearing clothes after his rampage!
I see an arrest of his father coming, Hopefully!!!!.
Now execute both him and his dad.
Once again helpless victims are slaughtered, if only even a few people were there with concealed carry and a little training we would have a different headline.
This whole thing disturbs me. I live less than twenty miles from where this disturbed young man grew up. While Morton Illinois is perhaps the whitest and most uninclusive town in our state, the fact that the Feds returned the weapons they had confiscated to his father is the most troubling detail of this whole affair. I am a gun owner and have a valid FOID card(That is the permit issued by the state if Illinois to gun owners), and I'm still shaking my head why the weapons were returned. We need common sense gun laws that are not biased by the NRA or the anti gun people, because too many people have died unnecessarily. Write your Congressmen, PLEASE!

Laws can't and won't prevent crime, the NRA did not brake the law, the father did! And what does " the whitest and most un inclusive" have to do with this crime?
Both the state and the feds dropped the ball big time. There has to be something wrong with the father as well. Knowing that his son had serious issues, and he returned the firearms to him especially after being told not to. At the very least The father should be charged with being an accessory to 4 murders!
I’m a gun owner and very disturbed with the way law enforcement, and parents have used poor judgement in a couple of high profile shootings.
This country is replete with disilłusioned wing-nuts hiding in the shadows only an impulse away from shooting strangers.
One's only hope is too not be eating waffles when it happens.

Yes. Unfortunately, that thought does occur to me when I'm out and about. Who's in a really bad mood today?

The shooters politics aren’t the problem, his sanity is.

NOWHERE did that response say that the NRA broke the law. That only happened in your mind - Freudian slip, perhaps? I just LOVE how you conservatives have to make up shit just to hear yourself talk/type instead of dealing with FACTS.
BTW - your juvenile misspelling of BREAK as BRAKE is, perhaps, another Freudian slip, because the NRA does BRAKE sensible laws all the time.
