Best straps on the market at great prices! Their sling straps attach to the camera strap lugs where they were intended to attach. They are pliable, comfortable, and shock absorbing. AND they are totally made in the USA!

I vote for these too though I couldn't give a Trumpety Trump as to where they're made!

I use the Canon CPS straps and they have been the most comfortable to date yet, I'm happy with them. The neck piece is very nicely cushioned(it's about 3/8" thick)!

Are these designed to be worn on the shoulder like regular Canon straps, or are they long enough to be worn across the chest? Thanks.

BUT Cinch-Strap allows different adjustable lengths so you can have it on your chest for crowded people areas where you want to keep your camera out of others hands or higher on your back we’re you can actual jog or run. That is nice control that makes this strap stand out. And it is quickly adjustable and you can hang your several different ways. Good luck shooting...

I concur - best 25 bucks I've spent this year on gear. I use it all the
time at indoor sports. Being able to unclip is really nice.

About a year ago, I bought a Binocular/Camera Harness sold by the Outdoor Connection (www.outdoorconnection.com). If you go to the web site, you may have to do some hunting for the harness. Look for accessories. It slides up your arms so the straps end up circling around your shoulders and under arms. The straps join in the back similar to suspenders. In front there are two slim straps to replace the common binocular straps. The harness holds my Canon camera easily. There is enough elasticity to allow easy access to the camera view finder or screen without disconnecting the harness at all. It also stops the banging around that is so common with the usual neck strap when you walk. The suggested retail is $21. I got mine from a big box store for somewhat less.

BosStrap! Six weeks hauling a Nikon D7000, 70-200 lens and no neck pain as I hiked around 9 National parks. Best is that it's long enough for cross-body and that it attaches to the strap ring and not the tripod screw. I can't speak highly enough of what a joy it was to have.

Hello Friends,
My subject is about the comfortability of camera straps and any suggestions for a solution to the following.
I have a standard factory neck strap from Canon. It came with the camera and is an 80D. I cannot seem to stay comfortable with the camera hanging on the strap for much time at all. This is due to many factors but mainly neck and shoulder problems and age. So I end up holding the camera in my right hand more than around my neck. It is more comfortable cross shoulder but the strap is not long enough and unusable in this configuration. Any recommendations on specific camera straps that might help an old guy out would be appreciated.
Thanks
Pat

Just another pitch for the BlackRapid. I'd also add the M-Plate Pro.

I have been using a BosStrap (sling strap) for several years. Tried several Black Rapids but they were uncomfortable (thin straps) and the strap interfered with the tripod mounting plate. The strap attaches to the camera strap lugs leaving your tripod mount available at a moments notice. The strap is also 1.5" wide and very comfortable when carrying. And as an aside note, I always hold the camera when walking. Straps, while comfortable and allow you to operate quickly, also allow the camera to bounce around alot. It's easy to knock the body or lens when walking. Check it out at www.bosstrap.com.

The Cinch Strap allows you to walk and even jog a bit as it’s length can be adjusted for comfort and lack of bouncing.... Sorry, but the Cinch Strap also gives you more choices to connect to your camera....

I use an OP/TECH USA "Classic Strap" but I changed the connector to an XL "Pro Loop Connector"

Nice affordable plain black strap (not advertising the camera or strap company) and very comfortable. It's made in the USA, I've had the strap for about 4 years and have not had any problems with it. Just changed to the loop connector recently from the more traditional "3/8" webbing connectors"(the same kind the factory strap uses) to make it look cleaner.
