Indeed they are. I’ve had several friends tell me that I hadn’t really seen the canyon until I’d seen both rims. I now agree.

Not to mention about a thousand feet higher....was just there last week and left just before the Helo crash, glad I missed it....Nice picture though

from the south rim to the north rim is about 200 miles.I have driven it a few times and it is a long ride.
