With due respect I have been to the North Rim and if you step closer you will find much more to have photographed. Your photo is nice as is but as a viewer I want more.

I have about a hundred more--I felt this one shows the primary difference in the lay of the land between the north and south rims. As you know, the north rim is significantly different from the south rim.

Brings back memories of my first motorcycle trip to the western USA, many years ago. We had spent the night in Williams AZ and rode up to the South rim the following morning. Someone said, "I wonder how long it would take to get from here to the north rim", and off we went. I don't remember exactly how long it took but we got there much later that afternoon.

Nope. My wife & I visited the badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Zion, Bryce, GC North, Horseshoe Bend, Sedona, etc. on a two+ week trip last fall.

I did the NCM tour last Sep. We visited (too quickly) the GC, Bryce, Zion, Monument Vally and Arches all in five days, plus a couple side trips. Not nealy enough time to fully enjoy and appreciate the majesty of all of that.

I imagine not. I went to Monument Valley & Antelope Canyon in ’15, and plan to go back to the Moab area in another year or so. Add Horseshoe Bend to our ’16 list also.
