Alaska is my favorite place on earth! My time spent there was on the Kenai peninsula.
Loads of great pics here. My compliments to all who have added them on this thread.

Even great pictures don't do Alaska justice. Here are a few from the three weeks I spent in Alaska. The second to last one is the sign on the post office at the end of the Dalton Highway, the farthest north you can drive on a public road in North America.
In Glacier Bay
On shore of Koyukuk River (11 pm)
Top of the world? End of the road, Prudhoe Bay
In College Fjord

We just returned from a 16 day tour of Alaska. What a beautiful state! We came home with over 16,000 photos to go through, unfortunately a lot of them are not good as it rained 95% of the time we were there and 95% of out time was spent inside a moving mode of transportation with wet windows! But regardless we had an awesome time. Here are a couple of our pictures.
Moose in Denali
Sunset in Denali
Eagle in Seward
View from our cabin in Seward
Glacier Bay
Alaskan Sled Dogs
It's too bad about the rain. But maybe the photos on this page will remind you of the trip. Hope you come back and the weather is better.
