Iā€™m glad someone brought this up. Suspect this is a conundrum for more than a few people. Have one attached to lens; irritating. Have several attached to camera strap; feels like you are wrangling a snake. May try just putting them in my pocket. But, then, what do I do with keys?šŸ˜€šŸ˜€

I don't use a cap. I use a UV filter to protect my glass.

Keys are hanging from camera bag strap with a mini biner. šŸ‘

Now that we have made an attempt to settle this shall we discuss the Nulear threat from North Korea?

Camera stores have an atachment that goes on the camara strap to hold to holf lens caps of all sizes. 5.00 and i have used it for 4years and never dropped or lost a cap. I believe it is called jujo.

Jujo, huh, Mel?

Just five bucks, huh?

Have to look into that ....

Thanks for the tip ...

What, Whatdat?

You mean - you only have ONE pocket?

I thought they came in pairs ....

I keep it in my pocket until I put the camera away.

You gotta put a cap on your lens before shoving your camera back in your bag, G ....

Otherwise, when you take it out next, you risk doing something to the glass, dragging it over the zipper ....

Your pockets are guaranteed lint-free, are they, then, Wolf?

I pocket the cover until I am done shooting. And any pocket will do. If whatever is in my pockets can damage the cover, the cover goes into the camera bag.

Now, there's a sensible solution, WD ....

Okay, TN ...

I wonder what THEY use to hold their lens caps ....

I used to have a tethered cap until I changed lenses. The cord was attached to my strap end. Now I put it in my pocket or, more often, in my bag when I get the camera out. That flapping cap was more nuisance than help IMHO.
