Ok without a discussion...I am going to spring for either a SX60 or a P900. I will be selling a Fuji S1 in very close to mint condition. What camera should I get. My other equipment is a FZ1000 A FZ300 and the Fuji S1. I will be up for an offer for the S1 in the $140 range...Please advise as to what you would do as to a new camera addition. Please no long discussion just what you would do. If you are interested in the S1 please advise,This is only going to stay up tonight as I am tired of thinking about both cameras...,,Thank You

I would read the specifications and buy the one with the most useful features for me. The last thing I would do is ask someone else to choose a camera that I am going to spend my money on!
We owned an SX60 and it did not take clear photos on the farthest zoom. After sending it back 3 times the told Best Buy to give us full credit on whatever camera we wanted.

I have a Fuji S1 - - WHY are you unhappy with it, and WHAT do you expect to gain with the other offerings ??
I REALLY like the AutoSave feature on the S1. I can push the photos to my computer over my home WiFi
Can the SX60 or the P900 do that ?
My other cameras are a Canon 7D Mk-1 and Canon 80D
My Go To Cam for quick pix is the S1
Thank you for your input. I do not expect a clean shot at full zoom from any camera expect maybe the FZ300 with a small sensor. The only bridge that would give me a clean crisp image was the HX400. I do not have wifi to try the auto save...I didn`t feel this would take me a long time to make a decision...I just wanted some more reach. Thats all....Thanks

Jeez, with all those cameras, why would you even need another?!?! LoL
SS
GAS attack.....some people collect coins....some collect stamps...mine is being frugal saving my money for months and months and aquireing a camera and getting to know everything I can about it...the FZ1000 has been a tad challenging.....
Thanks........one major factor is dealing with B and M is a pleasure....Any takers for the S1?.....heck of a Florida camera......let it rain......ok there is the 2000.....would be great until you get atmospheric (heat...ocean spray) and the 60...have a feeling the iq is good on both but just thinking that it may be a tad better on the 60....leave the optical to off....well my friends going to sleep on it...thanks for being there....I know why this has been a little difficult.....they are both good cameras...

The P900 doesn't shoot RAW, so it's just for dilettantes.
P900. Bigger zoom range and both have limitations, so in this case bigger is better.

S1 shoots RAW - - wouldn't have gotten it otherwise

I owned a Nikon P900 for a week. At 72, I tend to shake. In order to use the camera to its max at 2000mm, I found I had to use a tripod. I returned the camera for something that didn't have such a long reach. I just used something less, like 1000 and crop the image. Good luck.
