The lupine in the first shot was a great framing device ........ adding great depth to the image. Good on ya Lass!

Thanks, Bob. I spent lots of time getting a good looking bunch of lupine. They are so beautiful and I love the color. What really interested me that morning was the changing light. The second image, I took hand held on my way back to the car. I've been photographing that mountain for several years and I think this is best. Always appreciate your comments.

Another pair of beautiful images Rowedean. The first image would be gorgeous without the lupine, but its presence adds another element of color and composition to make this one even more exquisite.

Thanks and I agree, it needs the lupine to get the best image.

Yesterday, I went up to the little town of Gothic at the base of Mount Gothic - this huge hunk of granite. It was cloudy when I started out, but I was hoping to get a break in the clouds and some beautiful light. This is the result - took some time but worth it.

Rowedean

Nice captures.

The flowers are beautiful as foreground to the rugged mountain. I try to remember to always look back as well as up. Often surprises me. Things change so quickly. Enjoyed!!
