Mount Gothic

Yesterday, I went up to the little town of Gothic at the base of Mount Gothic - this huge hunk of granite. It was cloudy when I started out, but I was hoping to get a break in the clouds and some beautiful light. This is the result - took some time but worth it.

The lupine in the first shot was a great framing device ........ adding great depth to the image. Good on ya Lass!

I like 1 the most with those flowers in the foreground and the sun lit mountain.

Another pair of beautiful images Rowedean. The first image would be gorgeous without the lupine, but its presence adds another element of color and composition to make this one even more exquisite.
