Well done! I like both of them.
Thanks for the kind words.
There you go, you made it to Gothic. Some of the best flower shows in the state right where you were. Super Lupin in the first one. Thanks, hope the bugs were not too bad. Did you get to the Devil's Punch Bowl or the unique waterfall just before the Punch Bowl? Not sure if one day would allow me enough time to revisit my old stomping grounds. Thanks for the memories, again.
Yes, Bill, actually I was up there three mornings. Trying to get the right shot - think this one is OK. Finding the right lupine was the trick. No bugs. I didn't get up much past Gothic - to the trail to Judd Falls. Across the road was a waterfall, getting snow out of the forest. The road was getting bad with mud and snow, but in the next few days, I will be getting further. Perhaps to Emerald Lake. It took some time for the snow to melt this year. My camera club will all be there this weekend - Wildflower Festival - could be a zoo!!! Also, the first part of Cattleman's Days. So Gunnison will be jumping. I have been home for a few days, going back tomorrow. Wish you could revisit this area.
