Sony still is failing at establishing a SYSTEM. A camera system. That is...... a whole line of lenses that provides the photographer for every prime, zoom, fast lens they need.
Sony's Full Frame E mount cameras have been around since October of 2013.... not QUITE 4 years. Yet there are PLENTY of native E mount lenses available in EVERY focal length and EVERY price/quality range. So what if there aren't as many as Canikon; there are MORE than enough to get the job done.

Sony also has this thing of changing models and lens mounts too frequently, and no, its not solved by making adapters. They need to establish some consistency if they really want to step up to the PRO side of things.
What are you talking about?
Sony acquired the photoproducts division from Konica Minolta in 2006, gaining the A mount which was developed in 1985 in the process. It developed the E mount in 2010. NEITHER MOUNT HAS CHANGED SINCE IT'S INTRODUCTION.
That makes you WRONG.

They also need to improve....and that is to REALLY improve their customer service which just sucks and is miles away of what Canon and Nikon, with all their inherent problems, offers.
Canon has excellent customer service and professional support for it's professional photographers, but consumer level CS is on the SAME level as both Nikon AND Sony.
And as LONG time Sony user, my two experiences with Sony CS have been EXCELLENT, including a lens that required major repairs and was fixed for me FREE OF CHARGE even though it WAS OUT OF WARRANTY.
Besides:
https://esupport.sony.com/info/1523/US/EN .....is on par with what professional support from the other 2 manufacturers offer.

Must of these over hyped comments here come from casual, amateur "photographers", some of which are still dreaming of the camera that will make them better at this. A thing that will not happen of course. And you know what type of people I am referring too. The ones who, no matter the camera used, still just suck at it and love to lay blame on the gear for their shortcomings.
