Congrats, very nice..
I have one that is in my area, but by the time I hear him and can grab my camera, he seems to fly off. When I go searching, he's always
flying across the lake. One of these days I'm going to get that sucker in an image.
when nature gives you the bird, shot it. nice
Great clear close ups. What is your gear.

Great shots and great job with a challenging subject. I particularly like the detail captured in the feathers, eyes, and beak.
Couldn't get any better than these.

You make it sound so simple. "Guess I'll go shoot some hawks" and wala, "here ya go". It just aint that easy! Great results and lucky you.
Nicely done Jan! Great color and details!

Great shots but are you sure it is a red tailed hawk? Looks to me as if it could be a Coopers judging by its tail - I don't see any red in the tail but it does have the stripes that a Cooper has??
