You didn't say what size SD card you have now but my camera, also 24mp gets almost 1300 RAW files on a 32 GB card. I don't do much video but I looked at one 34 second video I did and it was 39.6MB in MTS file format, I think MP4 would be smaller.

I would go with Sandisk Extereme 32GB:Get several to handle what you plan to shoot. Congrats!

Custodian, as to the speed of the card, just look in your manual and if should tell you what the specs should be. Any faster is largely a waste of money. Most of my cards are Sandisk, but there are plenty of good card brands out there.
As to the lenses, make sure you use a flash if its permitted for the stills. Shoot at f8 with flash unless you're getting creative.
Make sure you have several cards and video also chews up batteries faster, so have a spare or two! Good luck!! ;-)

Remember that the camera will ONLY video for short periods per video then you will have to piece them together. DO NOT EXPECT to video the entire wedding in one shoot. I think the maximum length is 20 minutes and one of the reasons is to avoid camera overheating. The file size will be about 4gb for that but you can shoot multiple 20 minute clips. Just be sure to let the camera cool for a few minutes between. You can get longer runs by reducing the quality. Max quality HD is 20 minutes lesser is 29 minutes, etc. I would experiment prior to the wedding to make sure you know what is happening. Nikon also HIGHLY recommends using the external microphone (I suggest attaching it to a separate tripod) to reduce camera noise in the video.

Sandisk. Anything else is a crap shoot.

1. Get the fastest SD card. Sandisk Ultras are what I use.
2. Test before the wedding. You might find that your camera takes a while to write to the SD after you finish shooting and you can miss a lot of the action.
3. Shoot short bursts. Get those action shots, cutting the cake, throwing the bouquet, etc that lend themselves to video.
4. Video is like wit, best when it brief and succinct. If you are going to put all your video together you'll find that you edit out about 80% of what you shoot otherwise it will be a snoozer.
This two minutes + came from over 30 minute of footage:

I purchased this SD card just 2 weeks ago. It is a very good choice. I will buy more. Good recommendation.

My largest card is 64GB, and I've never come near filling it. It's easy to swap out one card and replace it with another. Check you manual for card compatibility and see the link below. Card terminology keeps changing.

Consult your manual to be sure that you buy a card that is compatible with the D5200. Nikon should give you specific Class and Speed ratings good enough for video. See the link Jerry provided, above.

I have Transcend and Sandisk 64GB cards for my LUMIX GH4. Both work great. You can get Class 10, UHS Class U3, 64GB SDXC Bus Type I cards from Amazon.com for about $27 to $35 each.

I am going to Israel 30 days from now and plan to try to take some (maybe a lot) of video and a ton of pics. Using gift cards that my school bus kids gave me, I paid under $4 for a 64GB Lexar SD card. Put that with a couple of 32s and an 8 and I'll have plenty :) I'm bringing a new-to-me Panasonic Lumix FZ-200 and leaving my Sony DSLR at home do to baggage restrictions. I did, however buy a used Gorillapod to go along with it, though. Not sure if I'll bring my ballhead.

Compare the specifications on the cards with the specifications in your FZ-200 manual before you attempt to record video. Be sure the camera supports the card, AND that the card supports the camera for the quality level of video you wish to record.

I do lots of video with my Canon. I use 8's and a 16 class 10.
Unless you plan to roll for extended periods, not really recommended with a dslr, a 16gb should do it for you but have an extra card around just in case.
