In the Develop Module, on the toolbar (just above the filmstrip), if Soft Proofing is not showing on the toolbar, then click the little down arrow at the far right of the bar. Choose Soft Proofing and the item will appear on the toolbar complete with a checkbox.

Is there some way we can print out all of this information? I totally forget stuff from the time I read it here to when I'm back in LR doing something, and I'm not "always on" the 'net, so I can't hop back and forth readily

This topic needs a place of honor to make it easy for us all to refer back to. I thought I understood most of the print module, but upon reading, I had no idea what soft proofing was, and why you would want to use it.
