Nice shot, I am green with envy. I want to find a camera that has the panorama program already on the camera. Until then, I will be attempting more with my d60 Nikon.

Stick to what you are doing with your Nikon.
These camera are worthless and their 'panorama feature' is a marketing gimmick.
You will have way more satisfaction with your camera, even if it involves more post processing work.

It doesn't stitch in the camera, it just locks the focus and exposure for each shot, and it gives you an overlap in the viewfinder to help with aligning the shots.

Angie... Wolf is right, the sweep panos cameras, mostly point & shoot cameras, really don't do that good of a job. What program are you using to stich your shots together with? Photoshop Elements 10 does an outstanding job with panos, and will even fill missing sections in like your #2 picture has. You will get much better panos taking your own series of photos and stiching them together. PSE 10 at times can be found selling for $50.00, the regular price is $79.99 the last I checked.
Checking the "Store Original" next to the browse before uploading, will allow us to enlarge your panos and see what problems you are having.

So many places to shoot and so little time!
Here's a pano of the beach at the Winter Star Party a couple years ago. The Winter Star Party is an annual gathering of about 600 amateur astronomers held in the Florida Keys. Dark skies, warm days and nights (usually) and a buncha geeks with their telescopes and camera gear.. what's not to like!
During the daylight hours the scopes are usually covered to protect them from salt spray and sand.

I hope this helps. At work, we have a 20"(?) Epson roll printer. Sorry, I don't remember the model number. It prints 20 x whatever. I have made panos 6 feet long. Find a friend or store with this type of printer and you can get what you want.
