Was hoping to try my sigma on the new D7100 last night but no luck. And yes, dropping the lens probably isn't a good thing.....

I'm attaching mine to start this off.
Here is the eclipse from several years ago. It was one of the very few times we saw the eclipses in Seattle as it is usually too cloudy. It was quite cold that night--fortunately I shot from my yard and was able to warm up between shots.
