Both versions look great to me. It's a matter of personal taste.

I don't see any way to improve it further. Stunning. How large to you plan to print it?

I will print it on metalic paper, 20 x 30, then it won't need any cropping.

I really like your photo and think the PP version is a big improvement. Should make a great print!

If I had any suggestions for improvements I would consider removing the bright reflections in the water - the ones appearing as white or very light colored streaks. There are about a dozen of them. Actually, I'm not sure what they are since I don't see any similar streaks in the sky.

The white in the water is the reflection of the stars on a windy surface. It shows that the water was moving. However, it might look better without them.

VERY Nice! GREAT Shot!

I would prefer a little less light in the foreground --just a little softer

kinda curious about the reflected lights in the lake, that don't seem to have corresponding lights in the sky...?

You HIT the Bullseye! FANTASTIC!

This should be a wonderful blowup! (Is this for personal use or for sale? I hear money jingling IF you want to sell this --art shows, galleries, web, etc. GREAT for someone's Western mountain cabin or ski lodge.)

Do you have a website of your photos?

It should make a great print. I don't care for the foreground light painting as the tree stumps pull the eye away from that wonderful sky and reflections. So, if this were mine, I would darken the foreground before printing.
