No towel. Must be the lighting. I don't see it. We did light painting with the foreground. Thank you. This was taken at 1:30 A.M. June 11th, 2013.

Please let me know what you think of this photo.
Thank you!
I like both images, and different points in each. In the PP image, I love how you subdued the light painting in the foreground. I think that part came out darn near perfect.
I do think, though, that the sky is over-darkened, and so lost some of the stellar objects visible in the first image, as well as some of the color on the horizon.
In my opinion, If you could blend what you did in the PP foreground with a little less darkening of the sky (I do think some darkening helps), you'd have the best of both images.
That being said, great work on both images! I envy what you've captured here, and as they are, each image would make for a great print.
I think the lighting in the lower 1/3 adds an artificial element to an otherwise excellent photograph.

This photograph is absolutely stunning! A photograph like this can bring tears to people for its beauty and its significance. Great capture. Now I must try this also.
Now, who was it said "I'm jealous" about your Milky Way?
Oh, just every photographer that sees it.
Makes me feel small and insignificant when I see the vastness of the universe. This is awesome.
The PP is great. Much better.
