I have some American Indian blood flowing through my veins. I am PROUD that teams homor the American Indian by naming their teams after us.

I understood you fine -- when did America get so touchy?, we used to be so much more relaxed about things, now everyone has to carry a banner, have a cause, cry when someone looks at them wrong. "Mommy, Johnny stuck his tongue out at me."We have become a country of cry babies. Time for Americans to toughen up.
Those cry babies became our politicians and company leaders.
That tattle tale in school is still the tattle tale as an adult and they are waiting for you to do something that the can squeal on you about. Company policies are on their side, the tattle tales are protected.
Some of the last living Navaho Code Talkers met with Red Skins owener to expres pride in the name of the team. I think that pretty much settled it. It's a shame Ira Hase couldn't give his opinion.

I understood it perfectly Gitzo and I like it.
Recently I was a delivery truck in Indiana with a picture of an Indian Chief with war paint. The name of the company. "Savage Oil Company"

Sorry Gitzo can't work. Liberals seem to be offended by EVERYTHING.
Since illegal aliens are now called undocumented workers.
Food stamps sounded offensive so now it is called link and snap.
How many times are the descriptions of perps explained by what color clothes they wore and maybe height and weight but not the color of the actual criminal? Hmmm I would think that would be important to even think of catching them. The list goes on and on. The wordpolice are out in numbers with nothing better to do.

I believe that is undocumented democrats!
I'm offended by the names our great lawmakers and rule writers give government programs to make them appear to be the opposite of what they are. Like earned income tax credit. It is really an unearned income tax credit since it is an income redistribution scheme to funnel taxpayer money to low income reporters. The affordable care act is a misnomer when you check on the current policy premiums and deductibles. Got to get to work. I'm sure you know of others.
Remember when the restaurant chain Sambos had to change their name.
When the Cardinals came to Arizona all of the business with the name cardinal had to change their name or face lawsuits from the Bidwell's.
Who would cheer for a sport team called, "Middle Aged, Mildly Obese, Lazy Asses", aka MAMOLAs?
The school team names should be addressed also How would you like to have gone to a high school where the team was the Trojans?
Well, in the Native American case, if I were a surviving member of a nation which was almost entirely wiped out from this land, I guess I would likely be insulted also. It would seem that they didn't think enough of us to make peace until the vast majority of us were dead and the others confined to reservations on the sorriest land in the country. Then the govt. allowed each religious faction to divide up the reservations and 'teach' the new religion-or in a lot of cases, if the teaching didn't take, they just beat the 'paganism' out of the child. And they also disallowed any speaking of the 'heathen' tongue.
Until one is on the receiving end of an issue, it is hard to appreciate the feelings of those who are. But we can try, can we not?
I guess they are flexable school
