What Sarg won't come out and say is that he believes that everything you earn belongs to the collective and that a corrupted government has been overly generous by allowing some people to keep to much of what the rest of us understand is private property, the by product of your labor, hence his claim that tax deductions are welfare, it was never yours to begin with according to the logic of Sarg, it belonged to the state and it is unfair of the state to allow you to keep more than your share of your private property.

Question: Why keep the personal exemption?

The tax code should be completely neutral with regards to attempting to influence personal behavior.

Unemployment is down only on paper. It's a numbers game. The U.S. credit rating was dropped for the first time in history. Governments meddling in what should be left to the private sector has increased. Government surveillance on it's own citizens has increased. etc, etc, etc.

Unfortunately, I continue to see many posts by some of our colleagues juicing up an article or publications, etc ... with their comments. To me, these type of posts just stir the pot as some of our other colleagues state.
I have utter respect to those who post things that can be substantiated and most important without adding their comments as part of it. I do respect a comment made with their ideas on such article or publication because is good to hear opinions from different angles.
I like to read this section to learn but I truly despise those trying to shove their opinions down my throat by filtering their biased comments as if we were ignorant. Now I know I am going to be attacked because of my comments by maybe some but I am certain that the majority here would prefer an unadorned publication.
