Very nice. Good demonstration of how pp can be put to good use.
I just love these....yes they have been taken to new heights but that look has moved it into an artistic realm. Six ways to Sunday, why not?!
I bought the Nik package and have been revisiting many of my photos this winter. It is addictive.
Have fun.
WOW! Fantastic pp on these photos.
A very nice set.
The first and last images are my favourites.

I want to show how powerful editing a picture can be. Here are some examples of a before & after photo. When I take a picture, i have an idea of what i want it to look like when I'm done editing, and then the work begins to get it there. Some of these pics are ones that I wouldn't have taken if I didn't have an idea for them before I took them. I'm not sure if it's because of Winter or what, but lately things have had a 'dark' feel to them. I already know what I'm shooting tomorrow, and it'll be dark as well.
Thanks for taking the time!

Very nice. It's amazing what can be done with processing.
I like your effects. You would love railroad graveyards.
Thanks, everyone!
I was actually planning a graveyard shot for today, but it is pouring outside, which may actually add to the shot if I can keep the lens dry long enough.

Hello Ace & Duce
I like all the photos. My favorite are the old Warehouse buildings. Reminds me of Booming economy in the past. Its all about getting out and having fun.

You have a great eye and knowledge of PP. Love the effects on the buildings and well as the birds.

Great photos and all the time and effort you put into them really shows    Thank you for sharing
I like everything but the one with the young boy, you turned his skin an unnatural color, it has strong purple undertones.
Also if you were thinking about the image before you pushed the shutter button, then you should have moved him so the background wasn't so busy and distracting. Nothing ruins a portrait faster than car in the background (not talking about models posed with cars, lol)or a door frame growing out of the top of the person's head.
Yeah, I kind of agree about the pic...I was going for a 1970's film camera look. As for the framing, he didn't want me to take his pic at all, that's why he's looking away. Right before I snapped it, he said "C'mon, Dad...really?", lol, so I had to take what I could get.
I like all the second versions. Nice work.

I find your skillful editing to be transformative, turning what could be mundane shots into intriguing images--The KEEP OUT sign becomes foreboding, the birds a more cohesive group, the warehouse alive. I think you are on the right track. Thanks for sharing one of your recipes.
Thanks! iDoc, you hit the nail on the head for what I was trying to achieve. Most of those shots are things that I never really looked at before, and I wanted to make them interesting. I particularly liked what you said about the Keep Out sign...I made sure it was part of the shot, it warns of danger and uncertainty.
