Scanned pics? Why not post jpeg files from your camera?
I have an old computer and can't transfer them from my camera. I recently made a choice to buy either a DSLR or a new computer and the camera won. The computer is next. In the meantime, my only other option is to go to a Kodak kiosk and transfer the images to a disk and load them on my computer. I was hoping the scanner would capture the photos as is, but clearly that's not the case. Off to CVS I go! Thanks for your input.
Hi HJ, you're reading my mind. I was going to post that a memory card reader is something I'm considering as well. I'm going to check one out today. I'll load a few more images afterwards. Thanks! :)
Let's try this again. The dog photos weren't taken in pet mode. The face detection in this mode acts quickly and the shutter releases automatically. The pics in this mode were blurry.
Bear with me, I'm new to forums and posting images online. Again, the actual photos are sharper than the online ones, but these are much better. Still nice pics for a cheaper camera. I need to test this camera in areas other than indoors and the backyard, but it's been raining here almost daily for a few weeks. I'll get there.

My problem is I can't find one to buy it.....HSN sold out and the new company hasn't answered my questions about it. So where do I find one?
Where can you purchase one? I've tried HSN sold out.
Here's a few more pics I finally had the opportunity to take outdoors. Note to bkgaddess, I'll see if I can locate one for you.
For some reason I lost the connection. Here's a few more....
Used glass setting in scene mode to capture alligator image and show detail.
Taken at full zoom in auto setting gorilla is a little fuzzy.
Reflective dot to left of flag is probably from floodlight on monument. I placed myself in a position where it wouldn't show in photo. Taken using sunset setting, even though it's a sunrise.
Note, there was no editing done on these photos with the exception of very slight cropping on the gorilla photo. I wanted to show these as they were taken, not photo-shopped.

Don't think that's a "Boxer" dog.
Back to the original question about the AZ361:
My eyesight is bad in the sun and I absolutely NEED a viewfinder in addition to the LCD Screen. All my cameras, P&S and Bridge included, have Viewfinders. Personally, I would avoid this one. If you want a good deal on a Kodak, even though it has "only" 12 MP, check out the Z999 for sale at:
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-115576-1.htmlSince you already have good DSLR's, this might be a good "rough it" camera. And for $100, sounds like a good deal...
Happy Shooting.
