I've only done 2 - both the D800's maximun size print. Had them done at Sam's. Uploaded, ready by the time I got here, except for the second one - they were out of paper and had to wait 5 days. Don't belong to Costco

I believe Staples is running a 50% off deal on posters for members right now thru the end of the month. If not at stores, then it may be online.

There appears to be quite a few options.
Google results for "print photos to murals".

Be sure to check reviews, before committing to a company.

I know you are wanting something much larger than most places provide and I don't know if this would work, BUT....have you looked into the possibility of taking the photo and slicing it into smaller posters you could mount side by side to make the size you want? I would think there would be a software out there that could facilitate the sectioning part of that for you.

I just Googled "wall murals" and am looking at Megaprint.com....check them out and good luck!

Wal-Mart - I had a pic from a P&S blown up to 30X40, and they warned me about quality, but it's gorgeous - my "guy" at the local Wally let it slip that anything bigger than 11X13 they print at the HP plant, so you get top quality at Wally's price - go online & check - this print is now 3 years old, and as bright as the day we hung it!

If there is a Sam's Club nearby, their large posters are 8.95 -- excellent quality. You can e-mail the shots to them or go into a club with a photo dept. and get them right away. The club I go to isn't too busy in that dept. and I can usually get a large poster done in 30 min.

Are there any websites/businesses that you folks on here that know lots about photography that would be able to take prints and make wall murals or

Thanks. Am thinking a couple of my Africa pix would look good wall-sized.

I don't know if this is what you want or not, but I placed an order for a person a while back and they were more than happy with the results. Hope this helps, Boone

I like Short Run Posters. Price is reasonable and quality is very good. I've had 1 24x 42 hanging on the wall for over three years, in a room that gets a lot of afternoon sun and the colors still look good.

That's the one that tells me that my 18.1 MP clear photo is "not recommended".

If you want to sink a fortune into it, there's Fat Heads, which are huge (wall size) cutout stick on murals of what ever you want. I'm pretty sure there are other companies who do the same so you may find a better price.

I use Snapfish for collages of my diving trips and they do a great job for little money. 16" x 20" - $56, 20"30" - $81

If you want a more professional job I use a Los Angles company that prints on canvas for $$$$

I use Costco for 20x30" posters. They cost $8.99. Costco has excellent color management procedures. I have had great results and the price is fantastic.
