If you want to see some really bad drivers ride a motorcycle for a season or two. On the other side of the coin, watch what some motorcyclists do with wheelies, lane splitting and weaving traffic lanes at high speeds. I've had a driver's license for 60 years and have ridden motorcycles, at various times, for probably 25 of those years. Fortunately I've not seen many accidents, but have read and heard of them. I have seen quite a few near misses that could have been avoided or could have been serious injuries or deaths.

This looks like someone created this picture. Seems to me this incident would have caused a fire or explosion.

Not necessarily so! I have seen a few similar accident without fire.

I’m told that this was once a full-sized pickup truck. I be that the driver did not make it!

Friend , had a full size Ford Ltd ('70s) in his boneyard. The whole trunk section was wrapped up over the top about midway like a taco. Dumb kid pulled out in front of a loaded log truck. Tough way to learn.

I drove for 6 1/2 years for enterprise. I would be driving at the speed limit of 75 mph and a semi was coming up I would move over to the left lane about 20 seconds before I got to him.he is traveling at 65 mph.one I would get to about 3 car lengths before I was about to pass him on the left lane he would place his turn signal , I would see I blink on his left turn signal and now he is in my lane.i would hit my brakes or get of the road or hit him from behind.i ran into this problem constantly so I called a friend of mine who manages a fleet of semis and asked about cameras in their truck.he told me they only have them facing forwards.i told him if he wanted to know who are his bad drivers just install a couple of rear facing cameras and see how many of your drivers cut people off.i told him it would shock the hell out of him.

When I was the duty officer in the Border Patrol, I received a call one night from the NM State Police concerning an accident between an older Chevy Suburban and a two trailer Yellow Freight truck. It seems the driver passed the semi and for some unknown reason slammed on his brakes. The semi went over the top of the Suburban before turning over, and it crushed the top of the Suburban down to the floorboard, and then it caught fire. As best as we could tell, when I got there, there were 18 men, women, and children packed in it, plus the smuggler. Some luggage had been ejected, and we found the documents from 8 countries in South America. All these years later, I can still remember the smell of those 18 burned bodies.
