Well, I did go the link you put on here and hit the download button. It pulled up the manual, but I don't see it in my downloads. So, I don't know if it's actually downloaded to my computer or not

It should have downloaded. You might 'save link as' and better control the file name and where. I'd try something like "D7500_User_Manual_English.pdf".

I would trust B&H to resolve any problems just as much as I trust Nikon. I trust them both.

Somebody showed a 3 year warranty which is just a third party warranty from Allstate. Maybe they can include it in your car insurance policy.

I can't be too negative about Allstate. My Allstate pension helped me retire at age 55.

Well, I went to file on the computer and hit "save as" and gave it a name, but I still don't know where, if anywhere. it went. It's not in any word document. I guess I am not real savvy with this computer.

Look in your 'download' folder. It might just be hiding there.

But it should say either gray or import. B&H used to say "import". Now they don't say anything. I think it's quite deceptive in my opinion.

It explains it perfectly if you click on the words B&H Warranty Only. Its a hot link. Perhaps they just created that today?

That's true about the same price. But, I didn't know that when I ordered it. I didn't order from B & H's website, so I didn't know there were 2 different items of the same camera. i just spoke with one of their salesmen. It cost the same as the 7100 I bought 7 years ago. So, I thought it was a decent price. I already have it out of the box and set up so it is probably too late to return it. I will just hope it performs as well as the 7100 did for me.

I don't think it's to late to return.

This one shows a 3 year manufacturer's warranty. It may not be the one OP bought. If not and the same price, return and get USA one.

It does NOT show ANY manufacturers warranty at all. Read the document you posted ... read it slooooowly and aloud, perhaps to your cat :-(

There should really be TWO different grey market policies, by both vendors and buyers. One for Nikon and one for all other brands.

All other brands will repair grey market items in their USA service centers. Acoarst you must pay them for that cuz theres no USA warranty.

Nikon USA will flat refuse to service. Your cash aint nuthin but trash. You cannot buy service.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will not buy any new item from Nikon. But I do have some Nikon USA bodies that I bought used. No one else makes a camera to the required specs, or else Id buy a different brand. I prefer to avoid Nikon lenses as well.
Not in the download folder. My husband figured out how to save it. I had not designated a location. Now it is on my computer. Thanks.
When you click on the B&H Warranty Only the following shows up in a popup window,
"B&H Warranty Only
These products are imported by B&H and are being sold outside of the manufacturer’s intended sales region.
This means that they are not eligible for the manufacturer’s warranty, rebates or promotional offers.
They come with a limited warranty from B&H".
Since Nikon USA won't service imported gray goods even if you are willing to pay for it. it could be difficult to find service for this camera if the need arises. On top of that the D7500 was released in June of 2017 so that design is now almost 6 years old. If it were me I would return it and look for another option unless I had a lot of Nikon lenses and could not afford other alternatives.
You shouldn't be paying the same price for a grey market camera as for the genuine US product. Shame on B&H for selling them for the same price. You should call B&H to complain that you received a grey market camera and you think you deserve to get $200 off the price you paid, or you are returning it.
I have bought several grey market cameras over the years, starting with my SRT101 in 1970. I've never had a problem and I've saved thousands of dollars. If the my next grey market purchase arrived DOA, I still come out ahead. BUT I EXPECT TO PAY 20%-30% LESS THAN THE GENUINE US PRODUCT PRICE. If I can't save that much, I buy the US warranty.
The D7500 is selling new in Hong Kong for about $700USD. You would expect to pay a little more from a stateside grey market dealer. If you want to buy grey market, then check prices at a well known grey market dealer - such as everybody's favorite, Abe's of Maine. Yep - Abe's is selling a brand new D7500 for $709, with free shipping.
I do recommend what others did already, return the camera. Check if Nikon has refurb D7500 or buy a second hand one from a reputable dealer, they usually give you a 6 months warranty. Make sure that second hand model is a genuine US import.
