While you may not see miracle changes in a high resolution photo taken at low ISO, for seeing what Topaz AI Trio can do look at my 3.1 mp photo taken with a Kodak DC4800. The discussion is at:

Thinking about trying the Topaz products. Photo AI, DeNoise, Sharpen, and Gigapixel. They are running a very good sale on the bundle. Do many of you on here use any of those, do they work good, easy to learn and use, any info would help. Hope to make a decision real soon.

I'll be using it with Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.

Thanks in advance for your answers!

I kept putting off purchasing any of the products, then last December(?) Topaz offered DeNoise, Sharpen, Gigapixel and Video at a fantastic price. I purchased the bundle and wondered why I had been putting it off. I think they do a brilliant job. I have yet to be completely convinced by Photo AI, but it is being updated regularly and is getting better and better. If you can afford it, go for it: I doubt you will be disappointed with the Topaz bundle.

Might have to start a new category for Topaz....second thread in two days.

Get the trial...you'll probably end up buying it.

I've been using all of the singular components of Topaz for three years now...Gig...probably two only.

Great programs and the Photo AI is the overall integration of the singular components...and they have succeeded.

They are good if you have a fast processor, lots of RAM and a fast Graphics Processor. Best to download a trial and do some speed tests.

The Topaz and similar products should change one’s approach to CAPTURING photographs. Gigapixel allows for such tight cropping that I now get by with a 100-400 for nature and no longer have a 200-600. If I need a fast shutter speed and large DOF, for example when photographing butterflies, I crank up the ISO knowing DeNoise is available. The wind no longer needs to be very still when capturing landscapes with Sharpen AI in your toolbox. Go for it and be open minded.

Save your money...Photo AI does it all so there is no need for Denoise, Sharpen and Gigapixel.

I have not tried the bundle, but do use DeNoise as the first step in every image I process. I have not noticed any image degradation, except on rare occasions and for the most part set it on auto and leave it there. I tired Sharpen for a while and for some reason it stopped working. Without it, I find the sharpening options in Photoshop do just fine. It’s great software and you should give it a try.

All the programs are very easy to use and provide excellent results, at the default settings.

I find that *sometimes* I revert to the single apps (usually Denoise and Sharpen) when Photo AI isn't fitting the bill. <shrug> Likes been said, updates are plugging leaks regularly...

Topaz products can do amazing things. The faster your computer/video card the better.

Note that in most cases there is a free trial period for you to use the software and decide for yourself if they are suitable for the post-processing you might do.

I have all the listed Topaz software and they work very well.

I'm on a PC with WIN 11 using LR and PS.

yes try them out on trial.

Like many pro sports and wildlife shooters, we love Topaz Denoise AI.

Here a high ISO shot with a high megapixel camera (a sure prescription for more apparent noise), cleaned up nicely with Topaz Denoise AI. A Great White Egret bends its neck to clean its feathers on the Caribbean Island of Sint Maarten/ St. Martin. Sony 50mp A1 camera, Sony 200-600mm lens, 600mm, ISO 1600, f6.3, 1/2000 sec. First the full frame and then a tight crop from the same shot. Topaz Denoise AI also has its sharpening slider if you need that also.

And another 50mp, ISO 1600 shot, cleaned up in Topaz Denoise AI, as a Snowy Egret takes off from its watery perch on Sint Maarten/St. Martin . Sony 50mp A1, Sony 200-600mm lens, 391mm, ISO 1600, f6.3, 1/4000 sec.

I have their full suite of products and they all work well. Topaz normally has some great deals on Black Friday.
