I agree with Fred. I have all of those mentioned. If lighting is really good, I will go to Sharpen, if low, Denoise. I mess around with Photo Ai, and it works best on the images I give where I am pretty close. Gigapixel I have but I couldn't even remember the last time (if ever) I used it. Probably got it in a bundle or stand alone to complete the bundle at a discounted price.

Sharpen and Denoise make me look like I know what I'm doing! Take advantage of that 30 day window to see how they work for YOU!

If you haven't used gigapixel yet give it a try. Whatever your resolution in your native out of camera setting, bring it into gigapixel and upscale it at least four times. Bring it back into Photoshop and resize it to your native size out of camera. You will have upscaled your resolution on the second image oftentimes negating the need to sharpen anything. Sharpening essentially increases edge contrast. The process in gigapixel will increase the actual resolution and detail without sharpening. There are a couple of other processes that can even increase that if needed. Try it!!

Topaz is an excellent piece of software for editing. I have PS and Topaz (been using it for over15 years) and On1 RAW all good editing software. You will be very pleased you got Topaz, but what took you so long to get here?

I have the three, and I use DeNoise and Sharpen all the time. They are great. Gigapixel, well I don't use it too much.

Topaz has their new Photo AI program that encompasses the Topaz "Trio" of Gigapixel AI, DeNoise AI and Sharpen AI. In Photo AI, these three programs have been incorporated in Photo AI as modules.

I like to use them at different times. I use Denoise at the beginning, and I use sharpen at the end.

Topaz Photo AI is the all in one apt and will do it all, however it does have its limitations. Denoise and Sharpen will give you more control of how you want the photo to look. So, with that said Photo AI will continue to improve and eventually will have the refining options of the other two, which will most likely to Denoise and Sharpen to be no longer. Just a note: once you own it you get free updates for a year and the program is yours to keep and use, there just are no free updates unless you buy the newest version. Buy it, try it, and as others have stated you will like it and use it. Good Luck.

yes try them out on trial.

Like many pro sports and wildlife shooters, we love Topaz Denoise AI.

Here a high ISO shot with a high megapixel camera (a sure prescription for more apparent noise), cleaned up nicely with Topaz Denoise AI. A Great White Egret bends its neck to clean its feathers on the Caribbean Island of Sint Maarten/ St. Martin. Sony 50mp A1 camera, Sony 200-600mm lens, 600mm, ISO 1600, f6.3, 1/2000 sec. First the full frame and then a tight crop from the same shot. Topaz Denoise AI also has its sharpening slider if you need that also.

And another 50mp, ISO 1600 shot, cleaned up in Topaz Denoise AI, as a Snowy Egret takes off from its watery perch on Sint Maarten/St. Martin . Sony 50mp A1, Sony 200-600mm lens, 391mm, ISO 1600, f6.3, 1/4000 sec.
