Just wondering as it could go either way
That's Chalmers, not Chambers. I could be wrong but it does look like an old IH Farmall C tractor from the early 1940's.
I figured along the lines of an IH. Thanks

I'm thinking IHC, But the steering wheel angle don't look right to me.
Most of the Allis Chalmer photos of that era I looked at had full frame rails beside the engine
I first thought IH. But I also think Avery
We had one when I was younger.
They were all very similar.
I grew up with AC’s and our neighbor that we shared work with was a Farmall guy, so that’s a Farmall (IH) for sure--probably a B or C. Nice shot of the old fellow.
Looks like a Farmall to me.
Definitely an Allis Chalmers. The big clue is the off center steering wheel and shaft. International did not do that in this era.

Look at the wheel weights. Every farm tractor I've seen at old tractor shows that had those weights were IH Farmall tractors from the 1940's. My wife's uncle used to restore and show old farm tractors, and he had a few AC's and IH's in his collection, and his early 40's IH Farmall had the same weights.
