A great repair shop, I have used them in the past. But like many independent repair shops nowadays, Nikon is restricting ANY Nikon parts needed by independent repair shops. Call first and see if they can even get any parts for your camera.

You are incorrect. I have personal experience getting gray market items repaired by Nikon. I’m sure you have not. Let’s see what happens when the op contacts Nikon.

Nikon USA is restricting parts sales. Nikon parts are available outside the USA, but they generally cost a bit more due to shipping costs.

One of my fellow Philly-area pros who has used Nikon all his career and used to get all his Nikon gear repaired at the excellent Authorized Camera in Willow Grove, Pa. (outside Philly) can no longer get his bodies repaired there because Authorized Camera Repair cant get the parts from Nikon anymore . Now he has to send his stuff to one of two Nikon repair facilities and pay much more and wait longer to get his gear back even with his NPS membership.

Did you research the used price for a D810? Your repair will most likely be this much and more. Perhaps looking online for a used model might be better for you.
