Nikon USA won't even sell parts to a repair shop for non USA cameras.
If you can find a repairman who has a busted one to strip for parts - well, lots of luck.
Otherwise you have to ship it to a repair station in the region it was made to be sold in.
At one time gray market D810s were on the Nikon authorized repair list give them a call and see if that’s still true
APS is best bet. They repaired my 80-200 mm f/2.8 IF AS tbat had a dead AF motor.
Reasonable price and work is warranted.
Nikon Canada?. Good luck!.

If you want to keep it in PA, Authorized Camera Repair in Willow Grove, PA will probably repair it. I've brought grey market gear to them in the past and they've done an excellent job with the repairs. They are very honest and their pricing is competitive and reasonable. Check out their web site. Again Authorized Camera Repair in Willow Grove. PA.

Send it to Nikon for repair.
They WILL repair gray market items. They changed that policy a couple years ago.
Contact Nikon USA through their website.
Repair will be at your cost, just as it would be with a US camera that's no longer covered by a warranty.
Nikon WILL NOT provide the vast majority of replacement parts to other repair shops.
In addition, Nikon no longer has an "authorized repairers" network. They discontinued those in 2020. Now there are only their own official Nikon USA repair facilities... one in Los Angeles, CA and another in Melville, NY.
It is possible an independent shop could do the repair if no replacement parts are needed or if they can source parts from a donor camera.

That link was from 2016, may not be the case anymore.
SOLUTION: CALL NIKON USA AND ASK THEM!
Instead of all of us contradicting each other and often with outdated information. I don't use Nikon and didn't know they now work on gray market items for full price or that they now only have the two repair centers.
