Winter B&W from Chicago

We got our first snow of late 2021 on December 28, a new local record. We came a few days shy of another record with a 290-day 'no snow' record, going back to March 21, 2021. I was out yesterday morning with a film camera for the few inches we got on Jan 1, 2022. Here's a belated Happy New Year! (from last year

Very nice photos. As someone who grew up in snow infested upstate NY I can attest that sure is snow and it sure looks like winter. Well done Paul.

Thank you Dennis2146, Cubanphoto, bill, Dan, tnturk, Mike, billmck, jdtonkinson, Dennis, Dan-DWU2! We had some record / near-record snow falls in Jan and Feb 2021. Today's 15F is obviously the coldest we've been this new year, but also the coldest this winter season.

Very appealing set! I particularly like the Marina Towers shot. Those floating pieces of ice on the river really draws one into the shot.
