Actually no. It would accept the password then just sit there.
I selected Forgot Password, went through that mess and it finally worked!
Thanx to all who responded!
The same thing happened to me also, and I had to log in after the update when I opened the Sharpen AI v3.3.5 version before I could use it.
The "Prompt" kept telling me that I had to "Log In", what a PIA.
This was the first time that I have ever had to log in after an update.
Note: There are some small things about the Topaz Products that need to be changed for the sake of program-to-program uniformity.
A copy (slightly reworded) of this post has been sent to Topaz Products Help.
I hope to post their response.
Overall, Topaz Products make me . . .

Pain in the backside for sure.

I think whenever you download a Topaz update you must first open it as a standalone or it will not open as a plug-in.
Isn't the log in a way to check for legit copy?

Tried that seven times, re-booted, deleted the topaz installer-no luck so far. This happened the last time they decided to change installers.
I have had similar problems with another package. Each time the company has had to send me another link, said it happened to less than 1% of their customers.
Another thought, I had a very similar issue with Maxim DL. Had to remove old version using windows, then erase a sub-directory it had been in, then all good. Also would not let me activate the software.
I think these things happen due to either interactions between software (few of us would exactly the same setups) or software errors we might have had at somepoint which damage files, etc., but don't appear until updating, etc. I remember files ar work that would not open, but a copy made would?
Good luck;
I usually find out there is an update by opening up a plug in and it asks me if I want to update. This time I had to download the update. I deleted the old installer and downloaded the new one. I had to sign in and it works fine.
Installed yesterday and no problem after logging in.
Mine did not go smoothly but I was able to accomplish it. I did not get a screen to slide the app into applications.
I had to do that manually on my Macbook.
I updated a day or so ago. Had to log in to use it. That said, this version is working VERY well for me on the 4 files I have used it on. The previous version was not working well for me.I am on a Windows 10 computer.

As I noted earlier, no installation problems, but the app runs just as slowly as before.
I have had no problems whatsoever on my Mac.

Almost every time there's an update, I have to go into Preferences and once again change the AI Processor back to the GPU rather than the computer's CPU. Also make sure the Memory Consumption is set back to High if that's the way you had it. It would be nice if each time Topaz retained the previous version's settings! (same thing happens with DeNoise AI)

I agree. It's a pain in the butt. I ran into the same problem. (And asking their site for help was a joke!)
My solution was to totally uninstall the old and install the new, and it worked.
