Why would some college kids painting crosses on their chest upset anyone? My God is that all they have to do is sit around and look for people displaying their religion? I don't get upset when you say you don't believe I God that's your choice but to say that someone is dumb or stupid because they believe in God is just about as stupid as saying someone is stupid because they don't believe in God. It’s your choice it's my choice. Why do people have to try to make others believe what they do? Live and let live.

Sigh..... Okay, one more time.....

Let me make this clear - those kids have an absolute right to wear those crosses - I went off and fought to make sure that that right would never go away. And they can wear Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist symbols as well - it is their right and it is why I love America.

But that State University, supported as it is by tax dollars from each citizen, was going to use a picture of those kids for their advertisements. They did not want to offend the Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist or Sikh taxpayers that were forced to support the school by appearing to condone one religion over another. And they technically couldn't do it anyhow, as it is prohibited by our great constitution.

Amen!!!This is the kind of assinine political correctness that led to banning nativity scenes in front of the court houses where people go inside and place their hands on the Bible to swear and tell the truth.

If you don't believe or feel offended, get over it. That's really what the US Constitution is about. If you don't like the program, change the channel or turn the TV off.

For crying out loud, it's some college kids wearing small crosses on their T-Shirts. Maybe some would think it would be better if they were skipping the game, hanging out at their dorm room and getting high or making a bomb.

Good God, we're indoctrinated to put up with everybody else's religious and cultural beliefs all over the world, but in this country we can't have any of our own?

C'mon, do you really think a few college kids wearing a small cross on their T-shirts during a football game is equivalent to ramming their religious beliefs down your throat?

I think you'd better ask LSU why it was done. I mean... why should some people get so upset over the building of a mosque or two and flying a swastika? It's their choice.

And they should just live and let live.

We don't want to offend anyone who pays taxs, now do we. It is a free country after all. We don't want to offend the Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist or Sikh taxpayers that were forced to support the school by appearing to condone one sex over another.

A Washington college said their non-discrimination policy prevents them from stopping a transgender man from exposing himself to young girls inside a women’s locker room, according to a group of concerned parents.

My country now admits we are no longer a christian country that has reigned for a thousand years. We are now a multi faith country. On that I could`t care less. But when Muslems start killing their own daughters because they do not want to marry a man they chose then that does it for me. Just watched a case on TV the other night. It made me as mad as hell. The father and uncle both got a life sentence.

It should be "OUT OF MANY, ONE". As in out of many peoples from many nations, one nation was built.

What I'm reading can be interpreted as:
If I can't advertise my religion I do not have freedom of religion.
That is not true.

We -The United States of America - have never been a Christian country and even wrote that fact into a Constitutionally mandated document, that was ratified unanimously by the Senate and signed by the President.

It says, in part, " As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion..."

How much clearer can the secular nature of this country possibly be?

If that is the case then the U.S should side with Iran not Israel. :D
