Thanks for bringing back a fond memory! I had one exactly like it as a young lad and to this day I still recall the sting of the iodine that my grandma would put on my road-rashes.

I have good memories of those things. We had an unusually steep road in the neighborhood and you could really get moving. However, I almost ran under a truck on one.

Remember them days and we had lots of fun. Kids today looses out on many fun experiences by staying indoors. About 12 years ago we made 3 crates and bought some wheels for a skateboard. Our grandkids enjoyed making their own scooters. Since we live on a hill they enjoyed going down it on the scooter. One of our grandsons decided he wanted to build a soap box derby but he fiberglassed the exterior. He sure had a lot of fun.
